Economics of Makerspaces - Employment and Manufacturing
Wirtschaftliche Aspekte von Makerspaces - Beschäftigung und Produktion
ENG: In this session we are going to discuss the role of makerspaces for local economic development both in terms of being employers and creating employment opportunities through training and skill building but also in terms of the economic potential arising from new means of local, decentralized production. Representatives from makerspaces around the world including Iraq, Ghana and Brazil will share their experiences and discuss how makerspaces can develop programs that help increase production capacities in particular in supporting decentral, local production as well as employment in local communities. Further, we will discuss what ressources makerspaces can provide in terms of employment support activities in both developing and developed countries
DE: In dieser Session werden wir die Rolle von Makerspaces für die lokale wirtschaftliche Entwicklung erörtern, und zwar sowohl in Bezug auf die Rolle als Arbeitgeber und die Schaffung von Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten durch Ausbildung und Qualifizierung als auch in Bezug auf das wirtschaftliche Potenzial, das sich aus neuen Möglichkeiten der lokalen, dezentralen Produktion ergibt. Vertreter von Makerspaces aus der ganzen Welt, darunter aus dem Irak, Ghana und Brasilien, werden ihre Erfahrungen austauschen und darüber diskutieren, wie Makerspaces Programme entwickeln können, die zur Steigerung der Produktionskapazitäten beitragen, insbesondere bei der Unterstützung dezentraler, lokaler Produktion und der Beschäftigung in lokalen Gemeinschaften. Darüber hinaus werden wir erörtern, welche Ressourcen Makerspaces im Hinblick auf beschäftigungsfördernde Maßnahmen sowohl in Entwicklungs- als auch in Industrieländern bereitstellen können.
