Ulrike Lucke is professor of computer science at the University of Potsdam, Germany. Her research activities include institutional infrastructures for education, research and administration. Currently, among other activities, she coordinates a large-scale national initiative to create a digital ecosystem for education across Germany and acts as an independent evaluator for two European projects on policy experimentation in the educational sector. Until 2018, she was responsible for e-learning and IT strategy as Chief Information Officer of the University of Potsdam. She is a founding member and was vice chair of the German University CIO Association until 2020. Since 2020, she is a Vice President of the German Informatics (GI) society.
