Hygiene & Safety

The hygiene concept for re:publica 22 includes the regulations and specifications of the state of Berlin that are valid at the time of the event, as well as additional measures necessary to ensure that all participants feel comfortable and safe.

We also recommend wearing FFP2 mouth/nose protection and keeping your distance in the large main hall. For small rooms, we have decided on mandatory wearing of masks. Please find more information on the current status of our planning here.

If you feel ill or have symptoms that indicate a Covid-19 disease, we ask you to stay at home!

Sustainability

All information about sustainability at re:publica 2022 can be found here.

Accessibility & Inclusion

The festival grounds of re:publica 2022 are mostly barrier-free. A large part of the festival site is entirely barrier-free accessible—the Hoppetosse and Escobar are unfortunately not barrier-free. The programme on Stage 1 will be simultaneously translated into German and English.

Awareness at re:publica 2022
There will be an awareness culture at our event. We are still at the beginning of a comprehensive awareness concept, but will already ensure that people who experience discrimination at #rp22 or feel uncomfortable or even threatened in any way will have a contact point to get help.
Please contact our awareness team via awareness at re-publica.com, at the information desk as well as at our Home Base (in the Arena hall).

For more information on accessibility and awareness, please see the site plan and re-publica.com/nachhaltigkeit.

Kids Space

So that parents can withdraw with their children, there will again be a Kids Space on the festival grounds for playing, romping, breastfeeding or for rest breaks. At the Badeschiff location, children can also play in a small outdoor sandbox. Unfortunately, there will be no programme or supervision in the Kids Space this year.

Code of Conduct

For over 15 years, re:publica stands for diversity in an open society.—which shows in our programme, on our communication channels and, of course, on site.
