In this session we will give a practical introduction to Open Hardware by making use of the single-board computer Raspberry Pi in connection with Info uHats. These shields make it easy to collect (I2C) sensor data and instantly display them on the Pi via an OLED display. While having fun with the devices, and getting sensor data displayed, we will be chatting about Open Hardware, Free/Libre Open Source Software, and potentials for better product design in general.
