Works as an author, TV and online journalist based in Berlin, Germany.
Between 2008 and 2015 she used to report from Cairo, Egypt for several local and international media outlets, including DW, Business Insider, then moved to Berlin as she was a fellow of the International College of Journalism at the Free University of Berlin (Freie Universität Berlin), to continue her journalism journey from there.
Besides news, she focuses on women's rights issues, politics, and culture.
Hostwriter ambassador to Egypt and North Africa and Co-Author of Unbias the news: WHY DIVERSITY MATTERS FOR JOURNALISM.

Background: 
Born and grew up in Alexandria, Egypt. She got her first degree in Mass communication and journalism from Cairo's reputable Ain Shams University. 
She worked in challenging times covering the Arab spring and witnessed the immersive change of the MENA region. 
Busy talking about diversity in journalism and women's rights.
